MISSION statement:

WE DRIVE ADVANCEMENT IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY BY UNIFYING STAKEHOLDERS IN THE SPIRIT OF COLLABORATION AND REGIONAL PROGRESS, AND BY BEING AN INFLUENTIAL ADVOCATE FOR THE REGION.

In 1944, Lloyd Bentsen, Sr. became the first Chairman of what we now know as The Rio Grande Valley Partnership.

We are a member driven organization that advocates for the Rio Grande Valley in areas relating to water, transportation, healthcare, and education among other things.

Unlike many local chambers and economic development councils, the Rio Grande Valley Partnership does not receive any public funds toward its operational expenses.

The Rio Grande Valley Partnership, through its membership , represents four county regions (Cameron Hidalgo, Starr & Willacy), uniting diverse groups with a common purpose or mission: TO BE THE LEADER FOR REGIONAL PROSPERITY IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY.
